John E. Smith, Director

Mr. Smith joined Walker & Company, LLP, in 1996 with over 20 years of computer systems experience. After serving in the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer, he worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Johnson Space Center in support of the first Space Shuttle launch. Since 1996, he has managed software development teams for the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Agency for International Development, and other government and commercial clients. As a consultant, he developed automated solutions for data acquisition, processing and delivery of sensitive government information within controlled environments.

Mr. Smith serves as Director of Information Technology for Walker & Company with a primary emphasis on overseeing the development and implementation of internal applications. During engagements he provides systems review and analysis using structured models.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Rochville University.
