Roy G. Layne, Partner

Roy G. Layne joined Walker & Company, LLP, in 2000 after 15 years of successfully providing assurance and management advisory services to public and private sector clients and serving as Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer at Pepsi Bottling Group in Washington, DC. He heads the Auditing Division at Walker & Company and provides strategic direction on issues related to internal control environments and financial management. Mr. Layne has contributed to the solution of an array of business challenges, from the selection and configuration of accounting systems to the development of financial feasibility forecasts.

He is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia and State of Pennsylvania, Certified Management Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Black Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr. Layne received his Masters of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, University College.
