D. Jackson Kinkaid, Director

Mr. Kinkaid joined Walker & Company, LLP, in 2004 after a long and successful career at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

During his 32 years at HUD, Mr. Kinkaid worked primarily with the programs of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). He worked in the field for several years performing reviews of FHA lenders to ensure compliance with FHA's requirements. He also managed the lender approval process through which FHA accepts lenders into the program so that they may originate or service FHA-insured mortgages. Mr. Kinkaid spent the last seven years of his career as the Secretary of HUD's Mortgage Reivew Board, presenting cases of violations of FHA's requirements to the Board.

Mr. Kinkaid earned a BA in Economics and and MA in Urban Planning, both from the University of Virginia.
